PATRIMOINE RELIGIEUX DE QUENZA
The church of San Giorgio was rebuilt including roman elements, especially visible on the western side. There are beautiful serpentine rocks. The interior presents masterpieces of the 17th century.
Very harmonious chapel in a green space. The apse and a part of the north wall could date from the 10th century whereas the rest of the monument was reconstructed (or enlarged) later, probably during the 12th century, with the original material. The vault of the apse is covered with frescoes of the 15th century.
